Would YOU drink breast milk? This man swears by it to help build muscle

IT'S usually reserved for newborn babies but this man enjoys a pint of breast milk.

Breast milk
Danny Davidson, a 32-year-old personal trainer from Essex, drinks 100ml of the thick liquid several times a week to compliment his training regime.

Danny swears by the milk to help him bulk up in the gym.
It's like marmite, you either love it or you hate it
Although some may be squeamish Danny says he doesn't mind the taste, instead of masking the unique flavour with cereal or a protein shake the dedicated fitness fanatic chugs the thick liquid down in one go.
The fitness buff believes breast is best when it comes to building muscle - citing the idea that milk contains growth hormones to accelerate his bulk.

Despite the lack of scientific evidence to support his theory Danny claims it is the secret to his toned physique.

Having said this Danny has revealed he is endlessly mocked by his friends, who have even nicknamed him Bitty, after the popular Little Britain character.

He said: "Im not hurting anyone by drinking it. Some of my clients have been interested in trying it but others think its disgusting.

A man drinking breast milk again

While it sounds like fun and games, the personal trainer risks infection from hepatitisand HIV at every sip as he buys his milk from strangers around the world on a website dedicated to the unusual fad.

Danny explained: "I've noticed a difference since I started drinking breast milk, I feel a lot stronger and a lot bigger.

"I'm very aware it can be dangerous but I don't screen it and I just take a chance."

While his wife Debbie is happy for her husband of three years to spend 20 to 40 a week on the gloopy liquid, she is worried about the dangers he faces.

But for Danny the risks associated with his tipple of choice are worth taking. Since the pair met nine years ago Danny's chest size has soared from a medium to an XXL.

He said: "I was in the gym and I had been bitten by the bug I was obsessed with getting big. I didn't want to take steroids to get big because Ive seen the effects it can have on you in your old age.

"There were these big rugby guys at the gym and they said they drank breast milk to build muscle. I couldn't believe it. I was shocked and a little bit skeptical that it would work."

The PT believes the growth hormones in breast milk are beneficial for building muscle in a similar way to helping babies grow.

His strict exercise regime sees him training at least three hours a day, using weights and cardio to bulk up his muscle and shed his fat.

The gruelling workouts are supplemented with a high-protein diet of steak, raw eggs, chicken and breast milk.

As well as ordering online from around the world, Danny also buys his supply from a network of trusted women in north London, but Debbie would rather he drink her own once the couple have children.

She said: "When he first told me he was going to drink breast milk I thought he was joking.

"It grosses me out because it looks a bit thick, I thought it would be more runny than that. But I dont really pay attention to it now, Im used to it."

While Debbie turns her nose up at the thought of her husband drinking other woman's breast milk, she is pleased with the results.

She said: "I like that he's quite big and as Im quite small I feel safe with him. He's like my protector."

Supermarket 'fruit' snacks secretly contain MORE sugar than Haribo

SHOCKING new figures show UK parents could be pumping their children full of sugar by unwittingly feeding them supposedly healthy food.

Supermarket 'fruit' snacks are said to contain piles of sugar - tricking naive parents
Its been reported a plethora of processed “fruit” snacks actually contain higher concentrations of sugar than a bags of sweets.
Could feeding your little ones 'yogurt covered fruit' be as bad as handing over a sack of Haribo? This is what health campaigners have claimed this week.
One item in the spotlight is Tesco’s ‘Yogurt Coated Strawberry Fruit Bites’ for example, contain 17.5g, or 4.4 teaspoons of sugar, in each 25g bag – the equivalent of 70g/100g. A bag of Haribo Starmix contains 47g of sugar per 100g.
That being said, Tesco recently became the first supermarket to commit to what the group called “a major sugar reduction programme”, pledging to remove added sugar from drinks in their ‘Kids’ range.
When Express.co.uk put these less-than-sweet claims to them, an official Tesco spokesperson said: "We have a wide range of low-sugar, healthy snack options available at Tesco.

"Our products are clearly labelled with calorie, salt, sugar and fat content so our customers are equipped with the right information to make a choice about what to buy."
They added: "We’ve removed billions of calories from our soft drinks, sandwiches and ready meal ranges by changing the recipes to make them healthier, and this year we were the first major retailer to remove sweets and chocolate from checkouts across all stores.
"Helping our customers make healthy choices is really important to us because we know it’s what our customers want us to do."
However, Graham McGregor, professor of cardiovascular medicine at Queen Mary University and chairman of Action on Sugar, made huge claims.
He said the food industry - "by taking something as natural as fruit and running it by adding sugar" - was the cause of a "pandemic" of obesity and type 2 diabetes.
He added: "The new Conservative government has a tremendous opportunity to take control of public health and reduce the huge burden on the NHS."

Is fit the new rich? Trendy stars don skin tight Lycra to show of sweat-soaked abs

BEING fit is the new big thing - but is it overtaking wealth as a ranking?

GETTY
Being fit is the new big thing, and the stars are all out in their gym kit
It's been trendy to be pictured in your gym kit for many years now - baffling to most, unless you're already a size eight in skin-tight black leggings.
But is being fit the new 'rich'? Is it a sign of superiority us meagre peasants should be looking up to? It would seem so.
Everyone's at it. British babe Carol Vorderman - who used to be the face of tea-time TV on Countdown - has even posted pictures of herself in skin-tight Lycra.
Albeit with somewhat of a camel-toe incident surrounding the pictures, if 54-year-old Carol can get into her work-out gear should we be trying it out?

Hollywood, as usual, is to blame for the trend. Arguably Madonna was the first to start the fit-not-thin campaign with her hefty work-out regime starting over a decade ago.
No longer is a flighty session of yoga going to cut it, you have to be lifting weights to be counted as one of the big-wigs.
Only this morning Jennifer Lopez was pictured leaving a gym with her t-shirt tied up showing off her washboard abs.
A pair of leopard print leggings and a water bottle in hand, it was clear Jenny from the block had sweated away her troubles during the hardcore session.
Cheryl looking thin at X Factor last night

Cheryl slammed people who called her a 'bag of bones' yesterday
She was making no attempt to throw on a hoody or cover her sweaty, glistening body up for the cameras - preferring to show off her hard work with as few clothes as possible.
And our very own Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is a prime example of the times - flaunting her incredibly svelte and taut body in a cropped top yesterday.
Not taking any prisoners, the X Factor judge hit back at fans who said she looked too thin last week. She said: "I am so sick and tired of it being ok to call somebody too thin or a 'bag of bones'.
"I would never dream of calling somebody too fat and that they should maybe cut down on their food intake? What is the difference?"
She added: "You have no idea what I have been through. Just losing my father in law very recently and everything that comes with that. Not that I am or should justify myself to anyone."
Cheryl finished the speech saying: "I’m so f***ing sick of people thinking it’s ok to be mean or body shame anyone. And it’s woman on woman. Have some respect and maybe think there may be reasons why before opening your mouth please."
So the question was: Is fit the new rich? And it certainly looks that way.
The more ripped and muscular you are, the bigger and heavier the weights you lift - and the more you pose in your gym kit on social media - the closer to the top of the hierarchy you really are.
Forget money, let's all get down to the gym.
